How to clean pearl jewelry
- After wearing your pearls, gently wipe them with a soft, damp cloth to remove any traces of cosmetics or perspiration.
- Once cleaned, lay the pearls flat on a soft towel to dry. Never hang pearl necklaces when wet as this can stretch and weaken the silk thread
- Keep your pearls in a separate pouch or jewelry box to avoid scratches from harder gemstones or metal edges. Soft cloth pouches or lined jewelry boxes are ideal.
- Keep Dry From Chemicals
- Avoid Extreme Conditions: Extreme heat or dryness can damage pearls.
